35 Step 5: Add Pebbles andWater 1. Rinse the pebbles thoroughly to remove dust and debris. 2. Place the pebbles gently at the bottom of the reservoir, covering the pump but leaving access for maintenance. 3. Fill the reservoir with water, ensuring the pump is fully submerged. Step 6: Test the Pump 1. Connect the pump to mains power and test the water flow. 2. Adjust the fountain attachment or tubing as needed to achieve your desired effect. Step 7: Decorate and Finish 1. Add more pebbles or decorative stones around the edge of the reservoir for a natural look. 2. Install edging materials to conceal the reservoir’s rim. 3. Place aquatic plants or potted plants around the pond to enhance its appearance. 4. Consider adding LED lights (P31) for nighttime ambiance. Maintenance Tips Clean the pump impeller regularly to ensure proper water flow. Remove debris, such as leaves, from the surface to keep the water clear.
